Life Cycle

After the well received release of "City Of Rust" in June 2008 and a year of regular shows in Seattle and Tacoma, Life Cycle is back in 2009 with The Grounded EP. Grounded is a new Life Cycle. Brothers Joshua J and Burn One create beats that are hard hitting and draped in synthesized sound. DJ Hanibal comes correct with sharp cuts fitting of a top notch Hip Hop DJ. On "Grounded...", LC brings back some familiar faces from "City Of Rust". Alex Anderson drops some funky Guitar on "Bang Out" and Nick Jensen is back to lace some smooth vocals to "Things Change". The Grounded EP stays true to the depth of "City..." with honest lyrics like "...Here I stand as the world goes crazy/ Just tryin' to make sense of shit seen lately..." (Joshua J) and "...I try to master art cause when I pass,depart/ I leave my life on these masters like your Mastercard..." (Burn One). The Grounded EP is another great release from a Seattle Hip Hop scene that is standing up to let the world know they are here to stay.
