Welcome to 4fame.com, my name is Kevin Linney and I am the founder and CEO of this new and innovative music website. 4fame.com was created to offer a variety of features that will benefit musicians of all genres of music.

4fame.com was created for 2 main reasons; the first is to connect music lovers with music artist from various genres across the planet. The second is to connect music artist with a population of music lovers across the globe.

As a music lover myself, I was becoming a little disgruntled with the music that was being made across various genres. If you listen to mainstream radio or watch mainstream music video outlets you will see that most of the music has the same sound and that is because radio and video outlets follow a certain format when it comes to music. In recent years it would seem that the quality of music has declined, which may be why album sales have also declined. I believe that the greatest myth ever told is that nobody is making quality music anymore. Record labels have never been concerned with quality music; they have always thought more of the business aspects of music, mainly marketing and placement. I always found it interesting that a few people can make the decision for many; what I mean by that is record label executives make decisions as to what you or I will like and they actually end up telling the artists which songs to release and in some cases, record labels even tell the artists what song they should make. It is no wonder that mainstream music across genres sound like garbage! I must admit 4fame.com was created for selfish purposes, I know there are innovative music artists around the world making classic music. These artist may not get any exposure because they don’t have some gimmick or maybe because their sound does not fit a certain format. I decided to create a music website that allows artists the opportunity to get his/her music heard without any politics or special interest.

The second main goal of 4fame.com is to introduce music artist to potential fans around the world. 4fame.com will allow artists the opportunity to promote themselves to a wide variety of music lovers across the globe. There are numerous features on 4fame.com that separate our website from other music websites.
